What is Elder Law?
Elder Law focuses on helping
families with the legal, medical and financial decisions related to individuals
as they age, including decisions about long-term care, which can be very
expensive and stressful for the elder and his or her family.
In a nutshell, Neiburger Law
provides legal direction to families who want to protect their wishes
and life savings from potential upheaval caused by the diseases and effects
of aging.
Our services include:
- estate planning, including preparing wills, trusts, and advance directives
- durable powers of attorney for healthcare and property
- Medicaid and disability planning
- long-term care and housing advocacy
- any other Elder Law-specific concerns you have
We provide compassionate legal
advice to help loved ones receive the best care available while preserving
as much of the homestead and other assets as possible. When necessary,
we also assist with probate proceedings to help the family transition
from one generation to the next.
